The CSGCG was designed primarily for the FCG-9, a 3d printed carbine meant to be buildable with absolutely no controlled (by European standards) parts. It can in theory be used by any project that expects an AR FCG (there are several) and has been successfully tested in both regular ARs and some of the hybrid projects that mate uppers with AR style receivers.
AR FCG compatible springs are still required; these are difficult to make by hand but are far easier to acquire in controlled markets than an explicit FCG.
The initial public release (v1.5) was made February 1, 2021.
A second release (v1.6) was made March 12, 2021. It added new hammer types in order to better accomodate slight height differences in builds.
AR-15 FCG spring packs are easy to find in countries that do not control fire control groups. They can also be readily obtained by people who ARE in countries that regulate fire control groups simply by ordering them from chinese manufactures through sites like AliBaba. Springs are likely to ship through customs without issue.
